eToro Partners with Premier League to Pioneer New Crypto Education Platform
Investment platform eToro are leveraging UK Premier League football teams and comedian Lloyd Griffith to raise awareness and understanding of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
By launching the eToro FC website as part of their #WelcomeToTheClub Premier League initiative, the company are hoping to build a community of football fans who are open to learning about the potential of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
eToro ‘Crypto Factor’
In the summer, eToro announced partnerships with seven Premier League clubs – Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace, Leicester city, Newcastle United, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur- to promote their service.
Most of these clubs will form the conduit to bring cryptocurrency educational materials, videos and tutorials to a wider section of the population.
A series of videos termed the eToro Crypto Factor and hosted by Lloyd Griffith will kick off the campaign. Players from the partnered teams will compete in three football challenges that will have similar traits to aspects of cryptocurrency, investing and trading.
Despite the latest market downturn, eToro’s most recent research has shown a strong interest in crypto asset education and, as an added incentive to participate in #WelcomeToTheClub, fans will be provided with exclusive football content and prize competitions.
With ten million registered users and regarded as the largest social trading platform in the world, eToro is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK and in Europe by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
