ICO listing platform ICOBazaar has just announced that it is planning to expand into the recruitment sector in a move that appears likely to make it the world’s first crypto-focused career portal.
The portal – which is due for release in late August – claims to have a portfolio of over three hundred blockchain employers already on its books, and is due to platform over one thousand jobs in its post-launch period.
Exponential Growth in Blockchain Employment
“Research shows that popular hiring sites have seen demand within the blockchain skills niche grow by over 300% in 2017 alone,” a spokesman for the group stated, adding that “…a blockchain-focused career portal is a logical step for the industry.”
In an interview with Bloomberg last week, Joseph Lubin, a co-founder of the Ethereum blockchain and now CEO of decentralised software house Consensys, stated his own observation that the number of developers now working within the blockchain space has grown by an “order of two magnitudes” since 2017.
Both employers and those looking for employment within the blockchain space are being invited to subscribe to the ICOBazaar portal via the project’s landing page.
