Pacquiao, who is the the only boxer to win major world titles in eight different weight divisions, could already be said to be a master in raising funds as his 23 pay-per-view bouts during his sporting career raked in around $1.2 billion in revenue.
GCOX CELEBRITY PLATFORM
The PAC token will be powered by the GCOX platform, a global celebrity-focused cryptocurrency exchange that enables personalities to tokenise their brand.
PAC will be released as part of GCOX’s Celeb-Connect feature that connects fans with the boxing legend through “interactive sessions such as personalised birthday video greetings, pay-per-view (PPV) live streaming with virtual gifts, wish list campaigns, and meet and greet sessions.”
GCOX caters, however, for more than just fan interaction with its Celeb-Charity function that “allows celebrities to use their immense influence to inspire action for a good cause, crowdfund for community projects and promote philanthropic work.”
Ex-England footballer Michael Owen and American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo are also included in the platform’s stable of stars.
