Moscow Summit to Discuss Future Direction of Blockchain

On January 27, the world’s first WBC (World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency) summit will be held in Moscow, with a specific remit of focusing discussion on the future direction of blockchain technologies.

Organised by the IDACB (International Decentralised Associations of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain), the one-day conference to be held at Moscow’s World Trade Center will focus its discussions on five key areas: ICOs, Blockchain Technologies, Cryptocurrencies, Crypto-trading and Regulation.

Inaugural Summit

“This will be the first summit of its kind, although it is envisaged that we will be holding between three to four per year going forward,” commented organiser Marina Nadeeva in an interview accorded to ICOExaminer.

The summit will unite some of the world’s leading figures in Blockchain technologies including Llew Claasen of the Bitcoin Foundation, Kristof Van de Reck of the NEM Foundation, and Alexander Ivanov representing the Waves Platform.

Figures from the Central Bank of Russia, the Dubai government and Gazgrom are also expected to be in attendance at the conference.

Organisers are hoping to help pave a clearer path for blockchain tech start-ups which, due to the particularly unorthodox nature of the ICO / token sale method of raising business capital that is prevalent within the industry,  have raised numerous questions for both legislators and financial auditors.
