Skyllz has just announced that it will be entering into a new partnership with the Barcelona-based Blockchain Institute & Technology (BITBCN) ahead of the latter’s upcoming blockchain bootcamp.
As part of the partnership, it will be expected to promote the institute’s intensive 200-hour blockchain teaching program in Spain, whilst BITBCN itself will later be platformed by the Skyllz network which is currently under construction.
Skills Validation Platform
Skyllz is setting out to create a blockchain-based skills validation protocol. It aims to replace the traditional resume used by hirers by allowing an individual’s skills to be rated openly on its platform. Raters with specific skills and experience will earn native SKT tokens by rating the skills of others.
Third party platforms like BITBCN will be able to build applications on the network to provide education, networking and recruitment solutions. The project is currently conducting a series of private pre-sales and plans a public token sale for June.
The Blockchain Institute & Technology is developing the blockchain and distributed ledger technology bootcamp for people wanting to learn about the different programming environments around blockchain technology. The program caters to candidates from both business and technical backgrounds.
Those focused on the business side will learn about the foundations and rules controlling cryptocurrencies, their growth potential and the investment opportunities. Developers will learn to develop apps using Solidity, the Ethereum protocol language. The programs will follow a ‘learning by doing’ approach with interactive modules.
