Stratis, the Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) provider, have released their ICO platform that will enable users to launch their own ICOs “within minutes” … for free.
“Not a DIY Platform”
Chris Trew, CEO of Stratis, explained that “Today’s ICO solutions tend to be either DIY, which comes with substantial security risks or they tend to charge a significant fee, but it doesn’t need to be this way.”
Making blockchain simple and accessible has long been a goal of Stratis which is why they chose to use the “widely understood language of C# and the .NET framework,” in order to encourage “as many developers as possible to access the benefits of decentralised technology.”
Stratis break the token issuing process down into three self-explanatory stages, namely the deployment phase, the live phase and the token distribution phase.
By utilising the exchange services of Changelly, Stratis will enable new ICOs to accept contributions in either USD and over fifty cryptocurrencies including Stratis’ own native token, STRAT.
Support will be given for Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallets so that any funds collected will not be stored on the central server.
The headaches associated with Know Your Customer regulations are also taken care of by the integration of Onfido’s KYC service which will screen potential contributors and perform checks on documents.
Full documentation along with an administrator and user guide for the Stratis platform has been made available on github.
