The Meme Factory is asking for submissions to commemorate the upcoming meeting of Tron’s CEO Justin Sun and Warren Buffett, the high profile investor and Chairman of the multinational conglomerate holding company, Berkshire Hathaway.
🚨Contest Announcement 🚨

Part of the District0x network of decentralised marketplaces and communities, the Meme Factory will award 250,000 of their DANK token to the winning entrant.
Earlier this week, Sun reportedly pledged a record-breaking bid of over $4.5 million in a charity Ebay auction to secure a lunch date with Buffett at a New York steak house. As part of the deal, Sun is able to bring along seven of his friends for the meal. Funds raised from the auction will go to San-Francisco based charity Glide.
While Sun and his Tron blockchain have been subjects of scathing criticism this year, this latest move has succeeded in pushing their names forward to a much wider audience.
In an open letter, Sun suggested he was hoping to win over Buffett who has been a long-term critic of Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies. According to Sun he is looking “…at the upcoming lunch with Buffett as an opportunity to seek mutual understanding and growth” and although he recognises Buffett’s investment prowess, “…even one of the most successful investors of all times can sometimes miss a coming wave.”
Judging by the Meme Factory’s irreverent pitch though – referring to Tron’s Tesla contest that recently back-fired spectacularly – entrants are being encouraged to focus on the potential for more humorous memes of the event rather than a coming-together of opinions.
Sun meanwhile will probably be checking his contacts and diary to see who he can count upon to make up his allotted dining companions.
